PM Lee sends condolences to Turkish PM after mine accident

Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong has sent a letter of condolence to Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan following a coal mine accident in western Turkey.

SINGAPORE: Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong has sent a letter of condolence to Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan following a coal mine accident in western Turkey.

Mr Lee said he was deeply saddened to learn of the accident in Soma, Manisa.

On behalf of the governement and people of Singapore, Mr Lee offered his deepest condolences to Mr Erdogan, the families of the victims and the people of Turkey.
