President Tony Tan receives credentials from three ambassadors

The representatives from Poland, Swaziland and Argentina presented their credentials to President Tony Tan Keng Yam at the Istana on Wednesday (July 30).

SINGAPORE: The Heads-of-Missions from three countries presented their credentials to President Tony Tan Keng Yam at the Istana on Wednesday (July 30).

The Ambassador of the Republic of Poland, Mr Zenon Kosiniak-Kamysz; the High Commissioner of the Kingdom of Swaziland, Mr Sotja Mphucuko Dlamini; and the Ambassador of the Argentine Republic, Mr Ricardo Luis Bocalandro, presented their credentials to Dr Tan in separate ceremonies, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA) said in its statement.

The 56-year-old Mr Kosiniak-Kamysz was previously the Polish Ambassador to Canada from January 2010 and August 2013, while Mr Sotja Mphucuko Dlamini was Principal Secretary at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation for Swaziland before his latest posting to Singapore.

Mr Bocalandro, also 56, was appointed Ambassador to ASEAN in March this year, and assumed the role of Ambassador to Singapore in July 30, 2014, according to MFA.
