SINGAPORE: A record number of students turned up at Singapore Management University's (SMU's) career fair on Friday.
The university said some 600 SMU students were at the fair which saw participation from more than 70 employers.
SMU said this year's fair sees greater focus on Operations Management, a sector it said is gaining strong interest from both employers and students.
The fair is one of the initiatives by SMU's career centre.
Students are also required to attend workshops on areas such as resume-writing and interviewing skills.
The centre also encourages students to engage in a four-year plan from exploring majors to considering career paths and landing internships.
