SINGAPORE: Singapore Cooperation Enterprise (SCE) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the State Government of Santa Catarina, Brazil to provide a high-level framework for collaboration in the areas of public and private sector collaboration, specifically economic and land-use planning, development of small and medium enterprises (SMEs) and policy development.
The signing took place in Florianopolis, the capital of the State of Santa Catarina, on Thursday, during a visit by the Embassy of Singapore to Brazil and SCE to Florianopolis.
Under the MOU, SCE will work with the relevant Singapore government agencies and private sector companies to collaborate with the State of Santa Catarina in the initial areas of master planning and capacity building, and in the area of SME development.
SCE is an integrated arm of IE Singapore, which works closely with Singapore's ministries and statutory boards to tailor possible solutions to match the foreign parties' needs like advisory services and project implementation.
