The Italian football club will travel to Singapore to play against a Singapore Select side made up of local and foreign S.League stars on August 16.
SINGAPORE: Newly-crowned Serie A champions Juventus will be in Singapore on August 16 to play against a Singapore Select side made up of local and foreign S.League stars.
The match will take place at the new National Stadium located at the Singapore Sports Hub.
Juventus midfielder Andrea Pirlo, along with captain and goalkeeper Gianluigi Buffon, will make the trip to Singapore after representing Italy in the upcoming World Cup.
"We always relish the challenge of playing against some of the best players in the world and our team will be training hard to put in a good display in front of an anticipated huge crowd," said Football Association of Singapore spokesman Gerard Wong.
A full strength squad, including Argentine forward Carlos Tevez and Italian international defender Giorgio Chiellini, will compete in Singapore.
