Singapore, Kuwait could do more to enhance bilateral relations

Singapore's Emeritus Senior Minister Goh Chok Tong and Kuwait's Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Sabah Al Khalid Al Sabah reaffirmed the warm and friendly relations between the two countries.

SINGAPORE: Singapore and Kuwait could do more to enhance bilateral relations.

This was the observation made by Singapore's Emeritus Senior Minister (ESM) Goh Chok Tong and Kuwait's Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Sabah Al Khalid Al Sabah when they in Kuwait on Sunday.

Both leaders reaffirmed the warm and friendly relations between the two countries.

Sheikh Sabah welcomed ESM Goh's offer for Singapore to share its experience in areas that are useful for Kuwait.

ESM Goh and Sheikh Sabah also had a good exchange of views on developments in Kuwait and the Middle East.

Mr Goh was in Kuwait to attend the International Advisory Board meeting of the National Bank of Kuwait as a Board member.
