SingPost launches e-commerce solutions provider SP Commerce

SingPost will integrate its eCommerce division with TradeGlobal Holdings which the postal firm recently acquired and Jagged Peak to expand its eCommercie logistics footprint in the US.

SINGAPORE: Singapore Post (SingPost) on Monday (Jan 18) announced that it has launched SP Commerce, which will facilitate e-commerce between markets.

In a news release, SingPost said it integrated its e-commerce division with US-based provider TradeGlobal Holdings and Jagged Peak Inc to launch SP Commerce. The integration with its recently acquisition TradeGlobal and Jagged Peak will allow SingPost to expand its e-commerce logistics footprint in the United States and provide greater links to China and the rest of the Asia-Pacific, SingPost said.

SP Commerce will offer services including webstore development and operations, omni-channel order management, cross-border commerce, performance marketing and customer care services, said SingPost.

Last year, SingPost saw a 384 per cent spike in domestic e-commerce orders year-on-year in Southeast Asia and Australia during the Black Friday and Cyber Monday shopping period. It provides e-commerce logistics solutions to more than 100 brands, including Adidas, Muji and Calvin Klein and operates more than 50 distribution centres across 18 countries.
