SingTel service back to normal after glitch causes poor mobile Internet access

Mobile operator SingTel said a server glitch may have caused poor mobile Internet access for some of its customers on Wednesday morning. It said in a statement that this occurred at 11.05am on Wednesday and a backup server was automatically activated.

It said in a statement that this occurred at 11.05am on Wednesday and a backup server was automatically activated.

SingTel then advised affected customers to restart their mobile phones in order to continue accessing data services.

It said data services were normalised within 20 minutes, and voice and SMS services were unaffected.
