S.League officials decide to reschedule a match between Tampines Rovers and Warriors FC after discovering that a goalpost was cracked.
SINGAPORE: A StarHub League Cup match between Tampines Rovers and Warriors FC that was meant to kick off at 8pm on Thursday (July 10) has been postponed.
S.League officials say they inspected a goalpost at Clementi Stadium and found that it was cracked. They decided the match should not proceed for the safety of players.
The Football Association of Singapore (FAS) says a new date for the match will be announced soon. It apologises to fans who turned up at Clementi Stadium, and says they just need to reproduce their ticket stubs to get free entry for the rescheduled match.
