StarHub and the Singapore Sports Council have signed a memorandum of understanding to offer more local sports content to a wider audience.
SINGAPORE: StarHub and the Singapore Sports Council (SSC) have signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) to offer more local sports content to a wider audience.
The aim is to enhance the sports viewership experience of Singaporeans.
The MOU was signed by StarHub Chief Executive Officer Tan Tong Hai and SSC Chief Executive Officer Lim Teck Yin.
The MOU signing was witnessed by Acting Minister for Culture, Community and Youth and Senior Minister of State for Communications and Information Lawrence Wong.
Under the three-year agreement, there will be an overall increase in local sports content on StarHub's broadcast platforms.
More national sports associations will be featured in its programmes
StarHub will also dedicate a segment of its upcoming daily sports news show on SuperSports Arena to cover local sports events and profile local athletes.
