SINGAPORE: South Korea's renowned Trick Eye Museum has ventured overseas for the first time, and will open its doors in Singapore on June 8.
The gallery, which features three-dimensional art, will open at Resorts World Sentosa's Waterfront.
It will feature 80 paintings and optical illusion installations, of which more than 50 were specially created and adapted for the Singapore gallery.
It will have six themed zones, and will also display popular art pieces replicated from the South Korean gallery.
And visitors are encouraged to take photos with their favourite pieces.
To complement the opening of the museum, more Korean-themed F&B and retail concepts will also open at the RWS Waterfront, creating a Korean cluster in the third quarter of 2014.
"Around 80 per cent of the exhibits here has not been seen in Korea," said Sally Liang, Marketing Manager of Trick Eye Museum Singapore. "The Merlion piece here is one of the more unique ones created for the Trick Eye Museum Singapore."
