Virtual graffiti and more at annual Aliwal Arts Night Crawl

Visitors will be able to use a projector to virtually paint the facade of the Aliwal Arts Centre, take part in other activities and view performances.

SINGAPORE: Popular annual arts event, the Aliwal Arts Night Crawl, returns this Friday (Aug 15), with a promise to set the Kampong Glam district abuzz. One of the highlights will be the Community Graffiti project, where participants can use a projector to virtually paint the facade of the Aliwal Arts Centre.

Visitors will also get to take part in other activities and view performances, ranging from theatre to music and dance. These are put up by about 20 different outfits from the Kampong Glam community, including the Malay Heritage Centre and illustration company Imaginary Friends Studios.

The Night Crawl is organised by Aliwal Arts Centre and it showcases the works of the arts groups it houses.
