Barricades along Woodlands Checkpoint viaduct to be removed

Traffic police will discontinue the use of barricades to segregate traffic along the Woodlands Checkpoint viaduct from next Saturday, February 1.

SINGAPORE: Traffic police will discontinue the use of barricades to segregate traffic along the Woodlands Checkpoint viaduct from next Saturday, February 1.

In a statement on Monday, it also reminds motorists travelling to Woodlands Checkpoint that traffic arrangements along the road remain unchanged.

The Woodlands Checkpoint viaduct continues to be open only for motorcycles during the evening peak hours from 4.30pm to 9.30pm.

All other vehicles will continue to use BKE Exit 10B to go to Woodlands Checkpoint during those hours.

Traffic police advise motorists to keep a lookout for the information displayed on the overhead signage on the correct lane to follow.
