Woman injured by falling tree branch at Bendemeer

A woman was injured by a fallen tree branch at Bendemeer Road on Thursday (May 22), the SCDF has confirmed.

SINGAPORE: A woman was injured by a fallen tree branch at Bendemeer Road on Thursday (May 22).

The Singapore Civil Defence Force said in a statement: "SCDF received a call at 9.46am this morning. We dispatched an ambulance to the location. We subsequently conveyed a female casualty to Tan Tock Seng Hospital. She is in her early 30s."

Mr Guo, an eyewitness who called the MediaCorp hotline, said he saw the woman lying unconscious on the road as he was driving past.

The police were on the scene when a TODAY reporter arrived on the scene at 10.40am. There were also construction workers hacking up the tree with a saw.
