Several Bills were introduced on Monday (Apr 13), including the Unmanned Aircraft (Public Safety and Security) Bill and the Monetary Authority of Singapore (Amendment) Bill. PM Lee Hsien Loong also addressed the issue of his father's home at Oxley Road.
Singapore Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong joined in the debate on the President's Address in Parliament on Wednesday. PM Lee spoke about the progress the government has made over the past three years in the areas of housing, transport, population issues and in strengthening social safety nets. He also laid out the government's agenda for the remainder of its term. Mr Lee also laid out his definition of "constructive politics" and took aim at Workers' Party MP Low Thia Khiang's earlier speech on politics in Parliament. This sparked a feisty exchange between PM Lee and Mr Low.
