MIAMI: LeBron James scored 11 of his 29 points in the fourth quarter as the Miami Heat held on for a 93-86 win over the struggling Boston Celtics.
The Heat led by as many as 18 in the opening half on Tuesday but fell behind by two in the fourth before James collected seven of the game's last nine points.
James also had eight boards and added four assists for Miami, which was coming off a 2-4 road trip.
Kris Humphries had 14 points and 13 rebounds for Boston, who have lost 12 of their last 13 games.
James went seven-of-eight from the foul line as the Heat scored the last nine points of the game.
Boston's Rajon Rondo missed all eight of his shots from the field and finished with just one point. He failed to make a pair of free throws with the Celtics down 90-86 with 44.4 seconds left in the contest.
Playing in only his third game since his return from knee surgery, Rondo finished with five assists and three turnovers.
