In the men's 50-metre pistol event at the Commonwealth Games, Team Singapore gave it its best shot but failed to make the cut.

SINGAPORE: In the men's 50-metre pistol event at the Commonwealth Games, Team Singapore gave it its best shot but failed to make the cut.

Shooter Gai Bin missed the bronze - finishing 4th out of eight competitors with a score of 143.4. His compatriot Poh Lip Meng finished 6th - with a score of 108.3.

The event was eventually won by India's Jitu Rai with a score of 194.1.
