T-Team's goalkeeper Shahril Saa'ri was shown the red card for bringing down Singapore's Sufian Anuar in the 54th minute.

The Lions were unable to take advantage of the subsequent free-kick.

Singapore's Faris Ramil finally broke the deadlock to give the Lions the lead in the 66th minute.

With the victory, the Lions avoided relegation and book a spot in the Malaysia Cup.
