Football: Pirlo, Vidal and Tevez in Juve squad headed to Singapore

A strong 28-man squad, led by new coach Massimiliano Allegri, has embarked on the Italian club's Asia Pacific Tour, which includes the match against a Singapore Select squad later this month. 

SINGAPORE: Serie A champion Juventus FC is bringing a star-filled squad, including Arturo Vidal and Andrea Pirlo, for its match against the Singapore Select squad at the new National Stadium on Aug 16.

Recently-appointed coach Massimiliano Allegri, previously of AC Milan, will be leading the 28-man squad on its Asia Pacific Tour with games in Jakarta, Indonesia, and Sydney, Australia, ahead of the game in the city-state.

Among the squad members are 11 who competed in the recent 2014 World Cup, such as Chile's Vidal, Giorgio Chiellini and Gianluigi Buffon of Italy, and Frenchmen Paul Pogba and Patrice Evra - both Manchester United alumni.

Here are the 28 members of the travelling party:
