In the women's 100m Backstroke, Tao Li, the SEA Games record holder in the event, powered her way to gold with a time of 1:00.247s. Vietnam took silver and Thailand bronze.
Tao Li was back in action in the 100m butterfly race, winning her second gold medal for the night with a time of fifty nine point eight seven seconds.
A one-two for Singapore, with Quah Ting Wen finishing second while Filipino Jasmine Alkhaldi ended third.
In the 100m men's Butterfly, Joseph Schooling took gold in style, his third in Myanmar. His time of 52.67s is a new SEA games record.
Indonesia's Fauzy Triady came in a close second, while his compatriot Glenn Sutanto was third.
18-year old Schooling also anchored Singapore in the 4x100m freestyle relay event. The Singaporean quartet, secured gold with a SEA Games record time of 3:21.74s.
Indonesia took silver and Malaysia the bronze.
