Let F1 road racing be at Monaco only and nowhere else.
A car with such speed needs special tracks for "proper" racing. |

Marina Street Circuit will make us stands out and be different from the rest with all the lightings and landscaping. A normal pernament circuit will be so boring. |

Every track should have its own character, Marina Bay street circuit already have it own character unique to its own. Tight corners and bumpy surface already make the track unique.
It’s the driver’s job to win races on any tracks, even if the corners are tight and the roads are bumpy. And no to permanent site, Changi tracks would turn the crowd away. But some improvement won’t hurt the track character, maybe we should finish up the race with fire works across the Marina Bay. |

The F1 should not be held at Marina Bay area.
It disrupts traffic flows and affects non-F&B businesses. I understand this site was chosen so that TV viewers around the world can see the night scenes around this area for tourism purposes.
I thought the Govt is considering building a permanent site near Changi. I think it's a good idea. |

amazing and very well done. organizing a street circuit event is easily many times more difficult than a track event and the organizers executed it perfectly.
Well done! |

"When we race on tracks which should be used for the circus, anything can happen including the spectacle of the safety car," Montezemolo said. "All this is humiliating for F1 and it is an aspect I want to talk about with the other teams."
This quote is from Ferrari president Luca di Montezemolo after the race.
This call for an outrage. We have a great circuit here. and there are no clowns here. |

Absolutely brilliant Singapore!! What a night to remember, I cannot say more than what has already been said by others except I hope next year's night race Singapore can wow the world over again with fireworks display and dancing on the track at the end of race. |

After 3 nights of watching the "live" telecast, I became a F1 fan overnight & I'm proud to be a S'porean. For next year, we should alter the circuit abit to make S'pore's circuit the best in the world in terms of many chances for over-taking, more "rest sections" along the circuit, toughest circuit in the world etc. Perhaps the circuit should be extended to Marina South to have more rooms for overtaking and also provide more spaces to allow more stectators to buy tickets to watch. We should improve the trophy design, no offence but not impressive at all. Inside the S'pore F1 website there is no feedback section for us to share in order to make next year's S'pore F1 the deciding factor in determining the championship. |

Shame on the Ferrari Team! Now the Ferrari President Montezemolo is blaming Singapore circuit after his team lost. Making silly mistakes themselves and blaming it on us.haha. Better brush up their skills for the night race the next time. I dont see a problem with the other teams. |

Trust S'pore to come up with such a great track in such a short time! Stop whining abt no space for overtaking; it's expected on a street circuit like Monaco. Only improvement needed is the bumpy tracks. (I feel giddy watching the drivers' heads go up & down over the bumps!) Safety car spoilt everything.. stupid F1 rule anyway. Overall Gr8 job! |

Right now, the problem is not how or where the race is hosted in Singapore. It is now about the audience. Singaporeans should have a sense of pride hosting this event. But few of us are even part of it. So what if my country is hosting such a huge event? I'm not part of it.. I'm just just another person in this country, unnoticed and unregarded. Is this what Singapore is supposed to be about? Is such a huge event, there must be as many activities as possible to get us Singaporeans to participate in and feel involved, otherwise, it totally negates the sense of community spirit... |

Wow, what an embarrassment with our ground crew not knowing what they are supposed to do, and that the F1 race cars have specific areas to 'touch' on.
The video clips on the training given, etc on ESPN Sports (Ch 24) showed that the training was done with our street cars (was it a Wish) whereby the crew were briefed on how to push the car in reverse, etc. What a joke.....
F1 cars are no street cars. There are so many areas that you are not supposed to place your hands onto. |

A magnificent F1 night race. But there are some problem that need to be resolved. The bumpy track which the drivers had complained, debris flying around such as leaves and the skin of the cars and also too little overtaking sections. |

Well done Singapore! We are new to this circuit. Definitely bound to have some hiccup. But we will definitely be better when the subsequent race happened here in the near future. |
