Genevieve Woo anchors “Singapore Tonight”, the channel's daily news programme which focuses on Singapore news and current events.
She crossed over to the bright lights of television after serving stints in other MediaCorp companies, including heading the Group’s Corporate Communications department. Prior to that, she worked as an assistant editor at TODAY, an English daily news freesheet.
She has also worked in a variety of roles in media and communications, including copywriting.
Genevieve has a Bachelor’s degree in English Language and Literature from the National University of Singapore.
Outside of work, Genevieve is an avid film buff. She produced her first feature-length movie, “A Month of Hungry Ghosts”, which made its debut in 2008 at the local cinemas.
She also co-produced a short film – “The Mitre Spell” which premiered at the 2007 Singapore International Film Festival. She is a member of the Guild of Professional Jewelers and Artisans (GJPA) in Singapore. |
