Otelli joined MediaCorp’s News Division as a producer/ presenter in 2007, after working in the media industry for 8 years. She currently presents some of the daily news shows on Channel NewsAsia, including World Today and Asia Today.

She has worked in various MediaCorp companies, starting out as a sports journalist, covering some of the regions’ finest athletes during the South East Asia Games and producing and hosting nightly news shows during the 2004 Olympics in Athens. She has also produced current affairs and news programmes for MediaCorp’s news radio station, 93.8 LIVE.

She counts among her most memorable reports, the unprecedented surgery to separate a pair of adult Iranian conjoined twins in Singapore.

Prior to joining Channel NewsAsia, she was a features writer with Her World Magazine and interviewed high-flying women who make significant changes to society.

Otelli obtained her Bachelor’s Degree in Communication from Simon Fraser University in Canada.

When she’s not working, you can find Otelli engrossed in a riveting novel, travelling and culture-loading. To beat stress, she works out at the gym and plays tennis.
