Patrick currently presents business news on AM LIVE! and hosts the weekly features show, Correspondents’ Diary.

He joined Channel NewsAsia as a producer in 2010 following a four-year stint with TVB Pearl in Hong Kong. Over the course of his career, Patrick has interviewed a number of fascinating characters, including renowned film director, Oliver Stone, rock icon, Noel Gallagher as well as Penang's Chief Minister, Lim Guan Eng. In 2008, Patrick was awarded The Consumer Rights Reporting Gold Award for his two-part documentary on fair trade.

A fluent Cantonese speaker, Patrick was educated at Scotland’s Glenalmond College before graduating from Kingston University with a degree in Media and Cultural Studies. He also holds a post-graduate diploma in Journalism from The University of Hong Kong.
