Steven co-anchors and produces for Channel NewsAsia’s flagship morning show, Primetime Morning. It is one of the network’s most-watched shows, with a colourful mix of hard news, live interviews and discussions on current events and issues.

He counts himself lucky to have interviewed personalities such as tennis star Anna Chakvetadze, actress Maggie Q, pop singer Josh Groban and former Hong Kong governor Chris Patten in his role as a co-anchor for Primetime Morning.

Steven’s media career began in 1999, as a junior trailer producer for ESPN StarSports. A year later, he ventured out as a freelance TV producer and presenter.

He fronted MediaCorp programmes such as Crimewatch. He also worked as a radio presenter with the company’s classical music station Symphony 92.4FM.

Steven is currently an adjunct lecturer at the School of Film and Media Studies at Ngee Ann Polytechnic where he teaches a television journalism class.

Outside of work, Steven focuses on youth development by working with school students through several community-related programmes. He is also a member of the Board of Directors at the YMCA of Singapore.
