Suzanne Jung co-anchors and produces for Channel NewsAsia’s flagship morning show, Primetime Morning. It is one of the network’s most watched shows with a mix of hard news, ‘live’ interviews and analysis on current events and issues.

Suzanne joined Channel NewsAsia in 2002, and has presented major international news stories such as the 2003 Jakarta bombings, the Asian Tsunami, among others. She counts among her more notable assignments, the IMF/World Bank Meeting in Asia, and the successful operation to separate a pair of Korean Conjoined Twins, for which she received a MediaCorp News Excellence Award.

Before joining Channel NewsAsia, she was an anchor/reporter for Arirang TV in her home country, South Korea. Having been inspired to go into journalism by her mentors, Suzanne loves to mentor students and aspiring journalists and teaches journalism courses in Singapore.

In October 2007, Suzanne received the South Korean Prime Minister's Citation Award, one of the country's top civilian honours, for her contributions as a broadcast journalist. She is the first recipient of this award created for outstanding South Korean citizens.

Suzanne holds a bachelor’s in Mass Communications (Journalism) from Yonsei University in South Korea. She is fluent in English, Korean and Chinese and is currently taking Spanish language classes.
