Lin fronts Channel NewsAsia’s high profile interview programmes like Conversations With and A Few Good Men, featuring the who’s who in the global and regional circuits. They include interviews with financial chieftains during the IMF and World Bank’s annual meetings in Singapore in 2006.

Since she joined Channel NewsAsia in 2006, she has also co-presented the ground-breaking interactive show, blogtv.sg, where she engaged in discussions on the latest buzz in the blogosphere. Lin also enjoys taking on genres closer to her heart such as how ordinary folks should make investments in the show, Cents and Sensibilities.

Lin has worked for 10 years with business news service, Dow Jones Newswires, where she was the chief correspondent for the Nordic region.

She has an M.A. from Cambridge University in the UK. She is now in the process of finishing a PhD thesis on business models for news companies under a fellowship from the Copenhagen Business School.

Lin speaks English, Danish, Swedish, Norwegian, Malay and some Mandarin. She is keen on philosophy, history and foreign policy. But cookbooks are her favourite bedtime reading.
