Yvonne currently co-hosts Channel NewsAsia’s Singapore Tonight, a comprehensive programme of all the latest news about Singapore.  She also presents the channel’s line up of other daily news programmes, including World Tonight and Primetime News.

She joined MediaCorp’s News Division in 2006, working with its multimedia online web news team as a video producer for channelnewsasia.com, before moving on to television news at Channel NewsAsia.

She joined MediaCorp after working in London for Sky News and other broadcasters.

Yvonne grew up and was educated in Australia, where she graduated with a Bachelor of Arts at the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology. She gained her MA in Broadcast Journalism from Nottingham Trent University (UK) in 2003. In that year, she was nominated for the BJTC Young Journalist of the Year (UK) award, for a mini-documentary she produced on 'Women, Dairy Products and Breast Cancer'.

Yvonne speaks basic Spanish and Hokkien. She enjoys anything creative including cooking, dancing and art. She is also an accomplished painter and has held exhibitions of her works.
