Mango Spread
Serves 1

Ingredients:

   
     

2 slices nutri multigrain bread
1/2 small mango, diced
1/4 cup low-fat cottage cheese
1 tbsp brown sugar [optional]

 

     

Method:

Toast nutri multigrain bread.

Mix mango and cheese in a small bowl - be careful not to mash the ingredients.

Spread mango mixture on toast, sprinkle with brown sugar [optional].

Choose low-fat cottage cheese because it has the goodness of the calcium minus the fat and cholesterol.

Mango is a very good source of beta carotene and is a very powerful anti-oxidant. It's also very rich in Vitamin C.
