Protein Blast Smoothie
Serves 1

Ingredients:

2 bananas
200g chilled beancurd dessert
1/2 glass reduced-sugar soymilk
2 tbsp banana-nut cereal

Method:

Blend all ingredients together until smooth.

Garnish with banana-nut cereal for crunch.

Pauline says:

Bananas are high in fibre and potassium which is good for those with high blood pressure as it can help lower your pressure.

Use the reduced-sugar soy milk since there's enough sweetness from the bananas and the bean curd.

The beancurd will make the smoothie creamy.

Soya bean products like the beancurd are very unique as they have soya protein which is important for the heart.

Experts recommend a daily intake of 25g of soya protein to lower the risk of heart disease.

Blend for 30 seconds.

Add cereal or toast to complete your smoothie.
