Purifying Salad (395 Calories)
Serves 1

Ingredients:

   
     

2 – 3 celery sticks
1 Japanese cucumber
5 cocktail tomatoes
2 tsp sunflower seeds (soaked overnight)
1 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
1 tbsp lime juice
Dash of salt and pepper
Dash of Thai seasoning herbs
2 slices of rye bread or whole grain bread

 

   

Method:

Chop celery and cucumber and cut tomatoes in halves.

Add lime juice, salt, pepper and Thai seasoning herbs in a glass with a cover or shaker and shake it well.

Mix dressing for 5 to 10mins before eating with the salad.

Cucumber has an alkaline effect on the body and can help to purify the blood.

Tomatoes can prevent digestive disorders and help clear toxins. They’re also rich in Vitamins C and A.

Sunflower seeds are rich in omega 3 fatty acids.
