For Teriyaki Sauce:
Mix the ingredients in a saucepan and bring to a simmer over medium heat
for a few minutes.
Use immediately or cool completely before storing.
For Teriyaki Chicken Bento:
Pan-fry chicken thigh over medium heat until crisp and golden brown.
Add ¼ cup of teriyaki sauce to the cooked chicken. Turn the chicken several
times to ensure that chicken is well-coated with teriyaki sauce.
Remove chicken from pan when the sauce is almost absorbed.
Sprinkle chicken with chopped spring onions.
Serve teriyaki chicken with warm cooked rice.
