Stress is fast becoming the no. 1 cause of heart disease and heart disease, the no. 1 cause of death.
When you think about it, our stress is causing us to die.
We need to learn to relax, just as we learn how to be uptight. So when you clench your fist, it takes energy, when you relax, it takes energy.
It takes time relaxing and unwinding.
Find a place and opportunity where you can practice unwinding.
When something starts to get you uptight, practice your unwinding to let it go. It will prolong your life and improve the quality of your relationships.
To help you get started, I’ll get you on your reset button, connecting mind and body and heart and saying, “Even though I’m stressed out, today, I choose to be relaxed, today, I’ll practice unwinding when I feel myself getting uptight,”
Repeat that two more times to help it sink in. Now that you can say it, you can play it. |
