There's still about five weeks till Christmas, but the holiday season is in full effect with Disney's latest, "A Christmas Carol".

The Informant

Matt Damon, the buff super-agent Bourne from the "Bourne" trilogy is back, but this time with a very different look.

This latest movie "The Informant" is based on a true story of the highest-ranking corporate whistleblower in US history. Sounds like serious matter, but you'll find Damon delivering some unexpected laughs at 30 pounds heavier with a bad hairpiece, a fake nose and nerdy-looking oversized spectacles.

Combining both goofy comedy and serious drama all into one, does he succeed in his delivery on both fronts? Genevieve Loh with more.

His latest flick "2012" is based on an ancient Mayan prediction that the world would come to an end in 2012.

Our film critic, Genevieve Loh, has the review.
