Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong revealed, in his speech at the Young PAP's 20th Anniversary celebrations, where the new PAP candidates may be contesting in the upcoming General Election. Here is the list:

ANG MO KIO

Lee Bee Wah

The daughter of rubber tappers, Lee Bee Wah came to Singapore with RM20 in her pocket. She paid her own way through University by giving tuition. She is a civil engineer who is active in NTU alumni and community work in Kebun Baru.
Lam Pin Min
An eye surgeon who used to be with the RSAF, Dr Lam Pin Min has participated in the aero-medical evacuation team for the SQ006 casualties in Taipei and in search and recovery operations after the SilkAir MI158 crash in Palembang. He also led the medical team in East Timor. He has been helping in Radin Mas and currently serves on the Central CDC.
BISHAN-TOA PAYOH Hri Kumar
The youngest of nine children, Hri Kumar is formidable in the courtroom but approachable and humble on the ground. A lawyer with Drew & Napier, he has a special interest in education and in employment prospects for older workers. He has been spending time in Jurong GRC.
Josephine Teo
While with the Economic Development Board (EDB), Josephine Teo was posted to Suzhou, China as part of EDB’s pioneering team there. She is now nurturing the NTUC human resources.
EAST COAST Jessica Tan
This mother of three holds a day job as a General Manager at Microsoft. Jessica Tan has been helping in grassroots work in Serangoon Gardens. She has also recently completed the Hong Kong marathon.
Lee Yi Shyan
An bilingual PSC scholar, Lee Yi Shyan used to be an Economic Development Board (EDB) officer. While with the EDB he was posted to America, then to Suzhou. He will eventually help Minister Mentor develop links with Saudi Arabia.
HOLLAND-BUKIT TIMAH

Liang Eng Hwa

Prime Minister Lee calls him the "Poly comeback kid". He plays the drums and saxaphone and runs the most active Young PAP Branch in the party. He serves in the Young PAP EXCO and is the Vice Chairman of the PAP Policy Forum.
Christopher James De Souza
The youngest candidate in the batch, Christopher used to serve as Deputy Public Prosecutor. He also used to be a national hockey player. He has been active in the Eurasian Association and Mendaki.
HONG KAH Zaqy Mohamad
Zaqy was the president of the NTU Student Union twice. He was noticed by Teo Chee Hean when he got agitated against university fee increases. He was invited to join Young PAP in Kampung Ubi upon graduation.
Alvin Yeo
A Managing Partner of Wong Partnership, Alvin Yeo was the youngest Senior Counsel to have been appointed. He has a keen interest in the youth of today.
JALAN BESAR Denise Phua Lay Peng
Denise Phua built her own leadership training company, then sold it. She later turned down a regional corporate job to become a full-time volunteer. She founded Pathlight School for children with autism and is the president of the Autism Resource Centre.
JURONG Grace Fu
A mother of three, Grace loves rafting, swimming and cycling. The CEO of PSA Singapore, she has seen PSA through good and bad times. She also works closely with the unions.
MARINE PARADE Seah Kian Peng
A Colombo Plan scholar, Seah Kian Peng was brought into the NTUC by Ong Teng Cheong. He has been with the NTUC family for 12 years. He is currently with Fairprice and the Singapore National Cooperative Federation.
Fatimah Lateef
A consultant in the A & E Department of the Singapore General Hospital, Fatimah is known as "The Disaster Doctor". She has been to many disaster sites, including Meulaboh in Aceh and Muzaffarabad in Pakistan. She has been with the Young PAP in Marine Parade for 20 years and has been involved in many projects to help the elderly, needy and underprivileged.
Lim Biow Chuan
A Branch Secretary in Jalan Besar, Lim Biow Chuan went to see Dr Lee Boon Yang about a mosquito problem. He then joined the grassroots organisation and 16 years later, he is still involved in grassroots activities.
Faishal Ibrahim
Elected Chairman of the Young PAP North East District, Faishal has been active in Punggol North. He was a council member of MUIS and advisor of the Young Muslim Secretariat. He teaches at the Department of Real Estate in the National University of Singapore.
PASIR RIS-PUNGGOL Teo Ser Luck
A triathlete, Teo Ser Luck used to help in Chong Pang. He speaks very good Teochew.
Michael Palmer
Michael believes in less talk and more action. He is sometimes a rebel but always for a cause. He was a keen school rugby player.
SEMBAWANG Lim Wee Kiak
A kampong boy, Dr Lim studied in Chinese High and Hwa Chong Junior College. He went through Medical School on a government bursary and went on to become an eye surgeon. He has been helping out in Marsiling.
Ellen Lee Geok Hoon
A long time grassroots activist, Ellen used to serve in Kampung Glam with the late S Rajaratnam. She is a volunteer with the Ang Mo Kio Family Service Centre and the Chairman of the PAP Policy Forum.
TAMPINES Masagos Zulkifli
Masagos studied in Bukit Panjang Government High and the National Junior College. He graduated from the NTU with a 1st class honours in Electrical Engineering. He has been with SingTel since he graduated in 1988 and his most recent appointment is Vice President of the Satellite Group. He is the President of PERDAUS and he founded Mercy Relief.
TANJONG PAGAR Baey Yam Keng
Baey Yam Keng has a real passion for the theatre. He took an EDB-Glaxo scholarship to Imperial College, London to study biotechnology and then went on to work for EDB in London. He was headhunted by the Ministry of Information, Communication and the Arts to promote creative industries.
Lui Tuck Yew
Lui Tuck Yew used to be Chief of Navy. He was spotted by Yeo Cheow Tong and was made CEO of the Maritime and Port Authorities in 2003. He became the CEO of the Housing and Development Board when he was spotted by Mah Bow Tan.
Sam Tan Chin Siong
Sam has the honour of being 'chopped' or reserved by MM Lee Kuan Yew for Tanjong Pagar. He is the Branch Secretary for Bishan East and the CEO of CDAC. He has served in grassroots for 10 years.
