BEIJING: Three people were killed and 20 others reported missing when the side of a mountain in north China came tumbling down early Wednesday, burying more than 10 homes, state press reported.
Rescuers have dug out about 20 survivors of the landslide in Shaanxi province, which took place shortly after midnight, and were continuing to search for the missing, Xinhua news agency said.
It was not immediately clear what triggered the landslide.
