ROGERS, Arkansas : South Korea's Lee Seon Hwa and Kristy McPherson are tied for the lead after the first round of the LPGA's Arkansas Championship was completed Saturday morning.

Lee fired nine birdies and a bogey en route to an eight-under-par 64 on Friday at Pinnacle Country Club.

Play was delayed for five hours Friday, and 72 players resumed the first round early Saturday.

McPherson was one of the players out early on Saturday to complete the first round. She played her final three holes at three-under, tying Lee atop the leaderboard.

Another stroke back is Helen Alfredsson, who posted a 65 in the 54-hole event.

Park Inbee, who made history last week on her way to her first major championship, is six strokes off the lead after a two-under 70.
