WASHINGTON : A second American Muslim woman has been arrested in Ireland on charges of conspiracy to kill a Swedish cartoonist who made fun of the Prophet Mohammed, The Wall Street Journal reported.

The newspaper identified the woman as Jamie Paulin-Ramirez, 31, who worked as a medical assistant in Leadville, Colorado, but recently moved to Denver and then to New York.

Paulin-Ramirez is now in the custody of the Irish police, along with six other individuals, arrested as part of an investigation into a conspiracy to murder cartoonist Lars Vilks.

She is the second American woman held in the case, the paper said.

Earlier this week, an indictment was unsealed against Colleen LaRose, 46, a suburban Philadelphia woman who authorities said used the Web alias "JihadJane."

LaRose was accused of plotting to kill the cartoonist and attempting to recruit radical Muslims via the Internet, according to The Journal.

She was arrested in October and charged with providing material support to terrorists, the paper said.
