I watched Hiroshima Part 1 on Sunday and found it a joy to watch. The joy I felt was not derived from the sufferings of the victims but the detail that the documentary went into, explaining the process of creating and dropping the first nuclear weapon.
I think Channel NewsAsia is doing a great job with the Documentary of the Week programme and I look forward to viewing more great quality documentaries. |

The usual family dinner outing is now redated to Saturday evenings. Reason? Would not miss any episodes of documentaries aired by you guys. "Hiroshima" gave me the opportunity to look at faces of the personalities who were involved in flying the Enola Gay that dropped the atomic bomb. I also get an account of their fears, thoughts and feelings of the whole affair.
Documentaries are my favourite TV programmes. I would like to thank you very much for airing them. They replaced my Sunday evenings with opportunities to absorb knowledge, enjoyment of a good programme, thus rejuvenating my soul!
Best Regards,
Priscilla Ho YS. |

Excellent, but such a good programme should be prsented at prime time say : 8.30 pm or 9.30 pm NOT at supper time 7.30 where most people still have their meals. |

Great work! The documentaries are facinating though I would suggest that it be repeated again on weekdays for those who are out with family. Please repeat Hiroshima again! Thanks :) |
