No, really, you can literally watch the MediaCorp artiste go from flab to fab as she undergoes slimming treatments in a furnished three-room glass house - that cost S$80,000 to erect - outside the Suntec Convention Centre.

It is, in the eloquent host's own words, 'embarrassing' to put your flabby tummy and thighs on display for all to gawk at. Of course, the fat six-figure pay cheque she's getting will help ease the pain. "My pay went up because my weight also went up," quipped Quan, who will be the face of Cenosis for another three-year term. She was a spokesperson for the slimming centre from 2003 to last year.

The 34-year-old artiste blames her weight gain - she is now 58kg - on the slew of food-related variety programmes such as "Good Food Fun Cook" she's been hosting.

Quan hopes to get back into shape by the end of the month-long, customised slimming programme. Her target? A super svelte 50kg. But Cenosis is confident that they can hit the even-lighter 48kg target they've set for her. - TODAY/fa
