Boyzone singer Gately died a 'natural death', autopsy reveals

LONDON : Irish boyband Boyzone will record a new album as a tribute to band member Stephen Gately who died earlier this month aged 33, they said Sunday.

Gately died of natural causes after suffering fluid on his lungs on October 10 at his holiday home on the Spanish island of Majorca.

Fellow Boyzone singer Ronan Keating told Sky News television: "We're going to make the next album for Stephen... we have a couple of songs with Stephen's vocal on it so that's a saving grace.

"Thank God we have that - that's very important to all of us and we know the fans would really appreciate that too."

Boyzone came together in 1993 and enjoyed huge success with six number one singles in Britain including "No Matter What", but split up in 2000 before reuniting seven years later.
