HONG KONG: Chinese-Brazilian model Elizabeth Kwong has filed a police report alleging that her ex-boyfriend, Hong Kong television host Amigo Choi, hit her when she tried to break up with him on Tuesday.

According to Kwong, 20, she had decided to break up with TVB artiste Choi, 30, due to his roving eye.

The altercation took place when she refused to accede to Choi's demands that she delete all photos of the couple along with the text messages they had sent each other in the past.

Choi feared the photos and the contents of the messages will be leaked to the press and expose their relationship.

He wanted them destroyed but Kwong refused as she wanted to keep them as a reminder of their time together. She assured him she had no intention of releasing them but Choi would not have it any other way.

A frustrated Choi then allegedly assaulted her, leaving her with injuries to her limbs, head and neck. He then snatched her mobile phone and deleted the photos and text messages.

After the attack, a shaken Kwong went to the hospital to have her wounds checked and seek treatment. Staff from her modelling agency then accompanied her to lodge a police report that same night.

While Hong Kong police did not confirm if Choi was the perpetrator, they have revealed that they have taken in a 30-year-old man for questioning in relation to Kwong's complaint. That man is now out on bail and will report back to the station next month.
