HONG KONG : Hong Kong actor Nicholas Tse and his son Lucas have been braving the paparazzi gathered outside the Hong Kong Sanatorium and Hospital to visit the new addition to the Tse family, Quintus.
Tse's wife, actress Cecilia Cheung, gave birth to their second child, Quintus, via Caesarean section on Wednesday and the actor told reporters on Saturday that his father Patrick Tse had advised him to leave Lucas at home as the situation at the hospital could be chaotic.
However, Tse was worried that three-year-old Lucas might feel neglected and become jealous of his brother Quintus if he was left at home.
So he insisted on bringing Lucas to visit his mother and younger brother daily, and went home with him every night instead of staying over at the hospital.
The 29-year-old actor also revealed that he named his son Quintus, Latin for 'Fifth', because the child was born in May, the fifth month of the year, and sounded good when put together with his surname Tse.
According to Tse, Quintus resembles him a lot though he admitted that it might be a little too early to tell as the child is still very young.
Even if he doesn't, there is a high chance at least one of his future children will. Cheung had earlier expressed that she intended to have six more children before she calls it a day.
