SINGAPORE : They have sold over 100 million records and released over 140 albums, and America's legendary musical family The Osmonds finally touched down in Singapore on Sunday.

They are in town for a one-night only concert, as part of their 50th Anniversary World Tour.

Changi Airport's Terminal 2 was 'starstuck' on Sunday evening. Fans came in droves, with some flying in from Japan to Singapore to catch their idols in action.

One Japanese fan said, "So exciting! We have come from Japan to watch The Osmonds' concert!"

The Osmonds last came to Singapore as a family nearly 30 years ago.

Donny Osmond said, "Memories of 28 years ago...I remember all the people, how nice they were, how exciting everybody was, and it's good to be back."

Alan Osmond added, "It's great to be in Singapore. We're so happy to be here..."

Marie Osmond commented, "I wish we could be here together longer. But we have looked forward to this forever. I was here 10 years ago with the Sound of Music production and I loved it.

"I have eight children. Last time I brought my four older ones; this time I brought my four younger ones, so we're looking forward to seeing the sights, especially the people."
