LOS ANGELES: Tyra Banks wants to give ‘Top Model’ treatment and confidence to women in a spin-off of the hit series, "America’s Next Top Model".

Showing on CW Network, "Operation Fabulous" will essentially expand on one of the most popular elements of "Top Model" – the model makeover episode - and apply its transformative powers to women across the country.

In addition to Banks as the executive producer, the new fashion-based reality series will also feature "Top Model" mainstays Jay Manuel and J Alexander.

They will make pit stops across the country and choose the location's five least-fashionable ladies to give them head-to-toe makeovers.

Manuel is the creative director of the show's photo shoots while Alexander is a runway expert who has been a judge for the past few seasons since 2003.

Although "Top Model" ratings have ebbed in recent years, the reality show remains the network's highest-rated series.
