NEW YORK : Following the success of the new "Beverly Hills 90210", the CW network is considering a remake of the show's spin-off "Melrose Place".

A network spokesman said the CW and the studio CBS Paramount Network Television are considering developing the remake for the 2009-2010 TV season and could debut as early as next fall.

Created by Darren Star and produced by Aaron Spelling, "Melrose Place" which revolves around twenty-somethings struggling to make it in Los Angeles, ran between 1992 and 1999 before getting cancelled after the seventh season.

Original "90210" alumni Jennie Garth and Shannen Doherty reprised their roles in the US teen drama so maybe we will get to see the stars of "Melrose Place" which include Marcia Cross, Alyssa Milano, Heather Locklear and Vanessa Williams, in the remake.

"90210" premieres on Tuesday, November 4 at 9pm on Star World (StarHub Ch18).
