HONG KONG : While many celebs are known to turn to Botox to smooth wrinkles and fine lines on their face, Hong Kong actress-singer Gillian Chung prefers it in her legs.

During the "Star Dad" press conference on Tuesday, Chung, who has a starring role in the musical play, revealed that she has been getting Botox jabs for the past few weeks to make her legs slimmer. Botox is injected into the calf muscles to reduce their bulk.

Chung, who recently became the celebrity ambassador for a Hong Kong beauty salon, recalled how she used to get teased about her legs, "I was nicknamed 'Swollen Legs' during my school days and I was also criticised about my legs when I first entered showbiz."

Chung, 28, has received 20 Botox jabs on each leg and will be getting new rounds of shots every six months, a small price to pay as she is now able to wear shorter skirts and flaunt her gams.

While she is pleased with the results, Chung has no plans to get Botox shots on her face nor would she consider breast enhancement surgery.

"I won't and it isn’t necessary. I have enough," she said.
