SINGAPORE : She performed at the GAP store at Wisma Atria when she was in town last year, and later this month, YouTube sensation Marié Digby is set to return to Singapore for a full concert at The Arena.
The 26-year-old Los Angeles native who rose to fame after posting a homemade video of herself performing an acoustic cover of Rihanna's "Umbrella" on YouTube, will not only perform popular covers during her July 28 show but also songs penned by Digby such as "Say It Again" and "Voice On The Radio".
Organised by concert promoter LAMC Productions, tickets are priced at S$55 (early bird) and S$75.
Also coming is hard rock group Mr Big who have expanded their highly anticipated Reunion World Tour to include a stop in Singapore.
Featuring the original lineup of Eric Martin, Billy Sheehan, Paul Gilbert and Pat Torpey, the Mr Big Reunion Tour marks the band's 20th anniversary. Famous for hits like "To Be With You", "Wild World" and "Just Take My Heart", Mr Big's popularity soared for around a decade until Gilbert left in the late '90s to pursue a solo career. The group only reunited last fall.
Tickets to the October 18 gig at Fort Canning Park are available at S$75 (early bird) and S$95. Early bird tickets to both concerts go on sale on July 8 at www.tdc.sg.
