Hong Kong star Kelly Chen gives birth prematurely

HONG KONG : Hong Kong singer-actress Kelly Chen who was expected to give deliver early August, has given birth to a healthy baby boy.

Hong Kong media reported that Chen was rushed to the hospital late Thursday after feeling some discomfort and was placed under observation.

According to her agent, Chen gave birth to a three kilogram baby boy via Caesarean section early Friday morning.

Chen and her long-time boyfriend, Alex Lau, tied the knot in a fairytale wedding in October last year. Chen, 36, announced that she was expecting a month later and she continued to work throughout her pregnancy.
