SINGAPORE : Vernetta Lopez must have really good connections from her wedding planner business - the blushing bride managed to secure a beautiful sunny day for her own white wedding.
The Class 95FM DJ and actress married 38-year-old IT consultant Wayne Gladwin on Saturday. The couple exchanged their vows - and tears - at a simple garden ceremony attended by friends and family at Rider’s Lodge, before adjourning to the St Regis hotel for what they described as “a huge party”.
“We’ve got more champagne than guests,” Wayne told TODAY. “We have enough booze to sink the Titanic.”
The couple met six years ago. “We both have the same humour,” Vernetta, 36, said of her husband.
“We both watch too much TV!”
